Abstract: 
EQL have recently entered the computer-aided assessment market with a product called i-assess and the slogan ‘Test your students – not yourself’. This package can be used to deliver assessment both on an intranet or over the internet using any standard Web-browser or over a local area network or stand alone PC without the need for any plug-ins, JavaScript or custom software. There are four components to the package. These relate to the authoring of questions, the organisation of questions into examinations, the delivery of examinations to students and the administration of the examinations (controlling access to assessments and recording results)…
