Employers’ appraisals tell you what they value in graduates

Most employers use an appraisal system to develop, promote and perhaps reward staff. The criteria and expectations incorporated into these demonstrate what employers value. They can also inform career and self development but equally they can benefit teachers and students in helping to develop employability skills.
