Abstract: 
The authors have conducted pilot research into creating accessible web forms. There are "good practice", ethical and increased legal requirements to make websites, intranets and extranets accessible. Accessible form design needs to consider: Understanding the form and how data is entered including: question labels, form layout, logical groupings, progress, access keys etc; JavaScript to improve usability; Automated form validation to check data input; Style and the use of CSS sheets. The article goes on to discuss specific question types: free text entry; pulldown list; radio and check box buttons; complex question arrangement. Validating accessibility by using checkers like Bobby, but some manual checking by content providers is still required....
