The Future Development of the Undergraduate Mathematics Teaching Conference (UMTC)

Following on UMTC 2005 and in an attempt to boost attendance, UMTC 2006 is changing: UMTC will remain an separate and dedicated event, with promotional and administrative support provided by the Maths, Stats & OR Network; UMTC 2006 will now be held 18 Dec 2006, rather that its traditional September time; UMTC 2006 will run over 2 days rather than 3 days, reducing the cost and saving academic time; Working briefs will remain core to UMTC activity; a new free follow up meeting in the summer will provide an opportunity to present, follow up, disseminate and develop the outcomes of the working briefs...
