Abstract: 
TechDis supports the Higher Education sector and others by providing advice and guidance on supporting disabled students and staff through the use of technology. Their first conference, focussing in particular on staff from the new CETLs, but is of use to all involved in teaching and learning. The article introduces wit h a useful tip on screen font size: press the Ctrl key and scroll with the rotating knob on your mouse to make screen fonts larger and smaller; it goes onto highlight other accessibility features within Word, the TechDis toolbar to help change background and font format, use of styles and headingscan help your electronic documents more accessible, screen tips can be added to images etc….More useful info is contained in the TechDis Staff Training Packs and the TechDis website….
