Data Protection
The Maths, Stats & OR Network database contains the details you submit to us via the web registration interface, events bookings, publication requests or any other correspondence. This database is owned and maintained by the Higher Education Academy in York, but all details will be stored securely. We will not make this database publicly available (for example on this website), nor shall we give or sell a copy to any third party.
The main purpose of the database is to enable us to fulfil our aim of keeping contact with members of the mathematics, statistics and operational research communities. However, due to our connections with the Higher Education Academy and the relevant subject associations, we may from time to time act as their agents in distributing printed or electronic materials through our database. We will keep such distributions to a minimum, and ensure that they are broadly in accordance with our mission as a subject centre.
By registering for an event you consent to your details being stored within our database for the purpose of administering, evaluating and reporting against this event; you will not receive any further follow-up information from the Maths, Stats & OR Network other than in relation to the event you have registered for.
